WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY IDEAS

When I was in the sixth grade, my cousin sis got married. It was my first exposure to the so called"Indian traditional wedding" that too a Bengali one. There, I first saw, I friend of my brother, with a video camera in hand and a helper with an extremely irritating bright light. He was carrying these through out the venue and focusing people in their most embarrassed times. Oh! it was so annoying. I felt like breaking his camera and those damn bright lights. With much control, I kept myself calm.

After the wedding, we saw our photos and could barely recognize ourselves. My sister, the bride looked liked the ghost from "The Grudge". The photographer said,"she's too pale, its so difficult to make her look normal!".......I mean what kind of an answer is this.she's too pale........... what are you a caveman or something!!!!!

It was a torture to bear their dumb answers. From that day on, I detested wedding photographs.

But now, look how gorgeous the photos are...... at last the progress of our world, reaped some good wedding photographers, at least in my area. The photos are so bright, full of life and full of light. Its like a totally different world out there. There are props, photo booth and so much innovation.

Decor by Abhinav Bhagat. Photobooth in the form of a cardboard car. Guests go behind and pretend to drive it!

All my friends who have got married, have chosen for the "ever after" style wedding photos, the never ending love, the surreal touches, the almost-kiss moment and the list goes on. I think these are very over rated. A more fun way to spice up those photos would be to add some spice..........after all spice is what Indian are famous for.

Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!

If I get married the following photo will probably describe my feelings best:

Yes! Finally I got married!
When Bollywood rules so much of our wedding theme, I still wonder why no one has taken a "Tanu weds Manu" inspired wedding shoot. It can be so much fun guys! We are so bored by the over fantasized romantic poses.

And to end my extremely long post, I leave you behind some cool props used in Indian weddings these days. Go crazy!!!!!!!! :D
