The documentary by Kate Humble is truly humble and shows us the simple lives of the shepherds in the country! Compared to the war torn region, there lives, I must say are quite peaceful. But with peace come challenges! They lead an extremely hard lives........
It is interesting to note that when the world is saddened by cutting down their visits to Starbucks or not having to sip bubble tea, these humble people go day after day just on grains, bread and tea. Meat is a choice only to be had on special occasions. it makes me realize that we are thankful enough for what we get to eat.
Even during lock down, we are getting our groceries, eating three square meals a day and still complaining how we are not able to go outside and have fun! My dear, you are blessed beyond limits!
